rhodes has been very fucked up recently.
human evolution essay test:
he gave us a bunch of handouts that he didn't even teach at all. just went over them once, like 3 days before the test.
grad trip:
he was frequently late. kept all 3 buses, and 100+ ppl waiting for 10+ mins. even guenther, who has difficulties walking, tried his best to arrive on time, and wasn't as late as rhodes.
more recently:
i was about to change my english persuasive speech topic to, "we need a new bio teacher," but i guess it would involve too many personal attacks (fuck rhodes), and guenther wouldn't like it, so i decided against it.
he gave us a bunch of assignments, 23 in all for this quarter (even more than previous quarters). damn... he couldn't even keep track of the assignments himself. now he's relying on tim to make him an assignment list. oh yeah, he used to go over the homework in class, for extra participation points, but he doesn't do so anymore. so damn lazy.
when we rehearsed for the graduation performances, during noon quiet time, rhodes didn't even come at first. guenther always came, and made suggestions. and rhodes didn't even come to GRAD CEREMONY! karch had to substitute. it was weird how it went, "here comes 9b, led by mr. karch." oh well. karch got the "flowers for homeroom teacher," and i don't think rhodes got any. he said he wasn't feeling well. so what? guenther often comes to class not feeling well, but he still comes! he also has trouble walking, but he still comes to class, quiet time, clean-up, and grad rehearsal. rhodes lacks the responsibility to be a teacher.
due to his laziness, we rarely change clean-up jobs and seating. we only change them cuz our class monitors are very helpful, and responsible. oh yeah. rhodes never comes to our classroom during clean-up. he doesn't give a shit about clean-up. no wonder we never win clean-up awards. guenther has trouble walking, as mentioned above, but he always supervizes 9a's clean-up jobs.
worst of all, he made us go to some movie night, on a damn wednesday evening, instead of friday. watched lorenzo's oil. although it's a good movie, movie night was no fun at all, unlike previous movie nights, mainly cuz this one is fucking mandatory (he made us sign in and sign out) and had a damn assignment to go with it. he told us he's ordering dinner. but it turned out to be no dinner. fuck! i went home at 7:30, all hungry and shit. kow yiao, wasted so much of our damn time with rhodes. no time to study for king arthur test. he didn't even explain the stuff well when we went over it in class.
the thrills article shit was also hella screwed up. rhodes was too lazy to even PHOTOCOPY the stuff. 10 pages isn't a lot, compared to Mr. Bryan, when he copied the medical school handouts (30+ pages).
last thursday, rhodes went on snorkeling trip with ap bio ppl. eckerling substituted for us. rhodes gave us like 2 damn reading assignments. he didn't even explain them at first, nor did he go over them. gan! he didn't go over the most recent assignments either (as u know, he doesn't grade them).
i heard that someone in 9a was copying bio homework. rhodes ripped up his paper, and lectured him about copying. as if rhodes didnt' copy from Mr. Bryan!
and most fucked up of all, he changed the requirements for ap bio from 85 to 90. gan! not that i'm taking ap bio, but he has no right to set high expectations on his students if he doesn't set high expectations on his own teaching. hell, i don't think even 25% of 9th grade wants to take ap bio. however, if Mr. Bryan or Mr. Mcleod were teaching ap bio, then maybe at least half of 9th grade would want to take the course.
bio binders were supposed to be due monday, but rhodes changed it to friday (first day of finals) cuz he's fucking lazy. if he collected them on monday, he'd have to return them on wednesday, so we can study for finals. of course, he's too damn lazy to finish correcting binders in a day or two. i just hate it when the due date of major assignments coincides with exam days. he finally has the assignment list (courtesy of tim), but he only passed it out to 9a. although we didn't have bio today, he didn't even make an effort to give us the list, so we can finish our binders.
screw bio finals. gonna do hella bad. i always have trouble understanding the stuff, cuz RHODES DOESN'T TEACH!
